With great joy and enthusiasm, the Association “Marathon Runners of Argolida” (member of EOSLMAY), in collaboration with the Argolida Sports and Recreational Organization, announces the organization of the recreational running and power walking athletic event, 23rd Argolic Gulf Race – “Panagiotis Papavassiliou”.
The event, which will take place on Sunday, February 16, 2025, is more than just an athletic event. It is a tribute to the inspiring and pioneering veteran athlete with disabilities Panagiotis Papavassiliou, but also an opportunity to showcase the natural beauties of Argolida, its hospitality, its local products, and its rich history. This year, the organizing committee aspires to convey a strong social message. In collaboration with the Argolida Volunteer Blood Donors Association "Blood Ties", we dedicate the race to voluntary blood donation, honoring the anonymous heroes who save lives with their contribution.
The Event includes: · 15,300-meter route for adults and people with disabilities · 1,000-meter children's route for children 8-14 years old · Walking tour along the 15,300-meter route
